As you can see, the templates already start beautiful, and for most people this will be enough. But I know that some of you want to really customize the pages to match your brand. The good news?

It is REALLY easy to do inside of ClickFunnels when you understand a few basic fundamentals.

Here is the big secret…

Color-Coded “Building Blocks”

All webpages are made up of 4 basic building blocks:

Rows

Columns

Elements

Basic page structure

Building Block #1:

Sections

(All Sections are in GREEN in your ClickFunnels Editor)

Sections are the “base” pieces that make up your page. You add these into your page FIRST. (Just like an artist who first paints the foundation for a work of art, - like “sky”, “horizon”, and “ground”).
Most pages will have a few main sections…

For example -

A Top Section - where your headline, and video typically goes. Then a Middle Section - for additional sales copy, videos or content. And finally the Footer Section.

Building Block #2:

Rows/Columns

(All rows And Columns are in BLUE in your ClickFunnels Editor)

Rows and columns can be placed inside the different sections on your page.
Use Rows and columns to adjust how each section is laid out on the page.

For example -

In the top section, you may add a row at the top (where you could potentially put your logos, or navigation links).

And a row with two columns underneath (where you could potentially place a video in one column, and a call to action in the other column).

And a footer row (where you could potentially put your legal terms of service or contact information).

Building Block #3:

Elements

(All Sales Elements are in ORANGE in your ClickFunnels Editor)

This is where your page layout comes to life!

Fill in any sales elements that you want INSIDE your rows or columns. (Just like the painter would fill in smaller details AFTER their background is in place…)
These are the DETAILS of your page that will give it a special, unique look, and boost conversion!

For example:

Inside the row, you can add your main headline at the top of the page.

Inside Column 1, you can add a video.

Inside Column 2, you can add a button.

Let me show you how to add Sections, Rows/Columns, and Elements

STEP 1: Start with any template (or a blank page)

STEP 2: Quickly add sections by clicking on the GREEN "+"

STEP 3: Create as many sections as you like

STEP 4: Click on the "Settings" icon to modify section

STEP 5: You can change the background color/image

STEP 6: Modify the section's color/background as you like.

STEP 7: Inside each section, click on the BLUE "+" to add rows

STEP 8: You can add up to 6 columns on each section

STEP 9: You can also add border around a column

STEP 10: Inside each row, click the ORANGE "+" to add element

STEP 11: You can add TEXT, VIDEO, FORM, and many more!

STEP 12: Your page is done and ready to go!

Adding In Page Elements

Now that you have the page structure designed, this is where ClickFunnels becomes a lot of fun.

You can now customize your page with over 50+ amazing elements that you can choose from, just like a painter would pick a color from their pallet…

Just drag and drop the onto the page and then move them around to your heart's content!

TEXT ELEMENTS:

Most pages should have a headline element at the top of the page.

Subheadlines help visitors understand more about what is happening on your page.

Use Paragraph elements for the bulk of your sales copy.

Bullet lists can be used to provide concise lists of information to page visitors.

MEDIA ELEMENTS:

You can upload your own images from your computer or search multiple stock photo sites from within the image manager.

Video is critical to engaging your audience. You have a few precious seconds to make a first

impression on page visitors.

Video popups are similar to the standard video element, however, they will only play in a popup

lightbox when a user clicks on them.

Audio player element will allow you to add podcast episodes and audio snippets to your pages in order to engage visitors.

FORM ELEMENTS:

Buttons will allow visitors to submit an optin form, go to your order page, finalize their order, or trigger a one-click upsell.

The input element is the most basic form element to accept names, email

addresses, phone numbers, custom information and more.

The select box is helpful when asking questions with a range of values such as income, credit score, favorite color, or anything else.

The text area element allows visitors to enter multiple lines of additional text when filling out a form.

ADVANCED FORM ELEMENTS:

The SMS signup element will allow you to get permission to send contacts SMS messages.

The survey element is an amazing app by itself. Send users to different landing pages based on how they answer the survey altogether.

You can add the shipping

address element to your pages to collect this information if you are shipping a physical product.

The billing address element allows you to collect a separate billing address if required by your payment gateway provider.

COUNTDOWN ELEMENTS:

The SMS signup element will allow you to get permission to send contacts SMS messages.

The survey element is an amazing app by itself. Send users to different landing pages based on how they answer the survey altogether.

You can add the shipping

address element to your pages to collect this information if you are shipping a physical product.

The billing address element allows you to collect a separate billing address if required by your payment gateway provider.

CONTENT BLOCKS:

Add icons to your pages! Icons can be linked to other pages in your funnels or other websites entirely.

Create a solid or dashed line of varying widths and colors to break up the content on your pages.

Add a progress bar to your pages so page visitors can see how close they are to finishing an optin form or order.

An image list is a bullet list element that allows you to upload your own 32x32px image to use as the bullet point.

The pricing table can be used to highlight various price points for your products and features that are included. This is helpful if you have plan levels that include different benefits.

The navigation element can be used to create up to five links on your pages. The navigation element will usually be placed in the Header or Footer of your pages.

The FAQ element is a text element with a question mark icon, a small headline and a text area. Add multiple FAQ elements to your pages to create an FAQs section.

The image feature element is great for creating testimonial boxes, quote boxes, or for showcasing

features of your products or offers.

MISC ELEMENTS:

The social share element allows visitors to easily share a link to your funnel on Facebook, Twitter, or Google+.

The Facebook comments element allows page visitors to comment on your pages using their Facebook account.

The text block element allows you to edit the text as well as the HTML and CSS of your text directly in the editor.

Take full control by adding your own JavaScript and HTML to your pages using the Custom Code element.

ORDER FORMS:

Create multiple products to sell on your order pages. It will allow your customers to select which product they wish to purchase.

The order summary element will summarize the customer’s order. It will show the product they have selected and the price for that product.

The credit card element allows your customers to enter their credit card information on your order pages.

The order bump is an impulse buy. It is an add-on product or upsell at checkout. This is useful for selling related products along with your main product.

The 2-step order form combines all of the order elements into one with two steps. The first step

collects the visitor’s name, email, phone number and address.

The order confirmation element goes on the order confirmation page and summarizes the customer’s purchases.

AFFILIATE:

The User Login element allows affiliates to register, login, or retrieve their password for your affiliate areas. This element is only available on the Affiliate Access page type.

Add the URL from the pages in your funnel that you want affiliates to promote and when your affiliate logs in to his

or her affiliate dashboard, the link will dynamically update with the affiliate ID.

The affiliate stats element will display the total page visitors they have referred, total number of buyers, and the total commissions

that they have earned.

The visual funnel element allows you to display how your funnel and commissions are structured. Update this element to show how much affiliates can potentially earn by promoting your offers.

The image asset element allows you to upload banners that you wish to provide to your affiliates in order to promote your offers.

The text asset is similar to the image asset. Write your copy for email swipes or blog posts and the content will update with the affiliate’s tracking links.

The link builder is a very powerful affiliate tool. This element allows you to provide multiple links in one spot for your affiliates.

MEMBERSHIP:

This element will allow members to register, login, and reset their password if necessary.

The member’s area search element allows customers to search your lessons.

The membership nav element will dynamically display all of your Lesson and Lesson Section titles.

Works in conjunction with the membership nav element to display

the lesson that is selected.

WEBINAR:

When you create an automated webinar (or autowebinar), you will need to give page visitors the ability to register.

The autowebinar date element allows visitors to select which date they would like to attend the

webinar.

The webinar time element can be updated to show between one to five different time slots during which attendees may view your autowebinar.

The element is available on the Autowebinar Confirmation page and will allow registrants to add the event to their own calendar.

STEP #4:

Use our advanced customization tools get the PERFECT look for your pages!

Custom CSS

You can take ANY ClickFunnels element, and make custom changes using existing html code

Padding Adjustment

Adjust the spacing that surrounds an element, so your spacing looks even and visually pleasing.

Color Adjustment

Adjust the color of text fonts, backgrounds, etc…
